Squawk! Fried Chicken Martini at LINQ's Brooklyn Bowl

EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Fried chicken meets vodka... makes one pause for a moment, but now consider mixing the best of both worlds into one savory martini. That's what Brooklyn Bowl is doing to celebrate its one-year anniversary in Las Vegas at The LINQ.

Executive Chef Dermot Driscoll of Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas created the unusual cocktail as a nod to its world-famous fried chicken. First, they added their delicious fried chicken to a batch of Tito's Handmade Vodka and infused it for two weeks. The fried chicken vodka is then poured into a glass dipped in a touch of honey imported directly from the Mexican honey farm belonging to Blue Ribbon Restaurants founder Bruce Bromberg. The honeyed rim is then dipped in the restaurant's signature fried chicken seasoning and garnished with a boneless piece of fried chicken skewered with a sprig of rosemary. Chef Driscoll's inventive creation will be available for a limited time.

Brooklyn Bowl's much-lauded menu elevates comfort food and offers new twists on old favorites. Signature dishes include its world-renowned Fried Chicken, served with white bread and honey; Egg Shooters with pickled peppers and olive oil mayo; a variety of French Bread Pizzas, including The Theresa, with butternut squash, mushrooms and roasted garlic; The Bowl Burger Deluxe with all of the fixin's and fries; and Mac & Cheese with baked crumbs.

Located center strip at The LINQ, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is where locals and tourists go nightly for an eclectic blend of live music, 32 bowling lanes and five bars with an all-house-made menu created and overseen by brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg's Blue Ribbon Restaurants. During shows, more than 2,400 guests can enjoy the performance from the general admission area, the luxurious bowlers' lounges adjacent to the lanes where guests can relax on leather sofas and enjoy the full menu, or the upstairs lounge boxes that overlook it all.
