'Pinesfest' Set to Redefine the Beach Festival This Labor Day Weekend

Beach yoga, drag parties, live performances and world class DJ's, they're all a part of this summer's first annual "Pinesfest" set to take place over three days Labor Day Weekend in Fire Island Pines.
Already named one of the "Best LGBT Parties at Fire Island this Summer" by Time Out New York, Pinesfest, will be a a 3-day-long showcase of talent reflecting "The Power of Community."�
"Pinesfest" is celebration of both Fire Island and also the broader LGBTQ community. The event will benefit the Hetrick Martin Institute and The Fire Island Pines Seashore Defense Fund.
Entertainment will include Crazibiza, Ron Carroll, Vito Fun, Robbie Leslie, Betty Who, The Mr. Fire Island Contest, Occupy the Disco and more.
Part of "Pinesfest" will be the launch of the Glitter Beach VIP Beach Club. A pop-up luxury space complete with lounge seating, towel service, umbrellas, cabanas and a private bar.
"Pinesfest" promises to be about more than great music, food and drinks on the beach. Fabulous activities like beach dodgeball, beach volleyball, jousting, yoga, Barry's Beach Bootcamp, the Babes of Summer Labor Day Drag Party, interactive art experiences, and even a tarot card reading - have all been planned for the inaugural event.
The Pinesfest Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to carrying on the incredible legacy of Fire Island Pines.
Formed in 2016, the Foundation raises awareness about Fire Island Pines and inspires meaningful change through strategic initiatives and investments in grassroots LGBTQ organizations.
