'Julie Goldman Is Trigger Happy' Plays LGBTQ Center of Long Beach

On August 19, head to the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach for an exclusive evening with comedian Julie Goldman in her new show, "Julie Goldman is Trigger Happy (An Exclusive Comedy Experience)." The event benefits the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach.

"I am so excited to be performing in Long Beach and working with the Center and Porter Gilberg," Goldman told EDGE. "The work they do is of the utmost importance, especially in this new gross era. Plus, Women on A Roll is gonna be in the house and let's not forget one of the coolest, gay bars ever, The Suite, is keeping it old-school realness. LOVE. This is a night not to miss!"

Goldman said she'll do a full hour set, with all proceeds going to the Long Beach Gay and Lesbian Center. She has been working with Porter Gilberg, director of the Center, as well as Andrea Myerson, who will help welcome Women on a Roll.

Goldman is currently co-hosting the podcast "Dumb Gay Politics" and is featured in the upcoming season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

"Julie Goldman is Trigger Happy" will be held at 8 p.m. on August 19 at The Suite, 3428 Pacific Coast Hwy., Long Beach, CA 90804. Tickets are $20 in advance/ $25 at the door.
