READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Tom Holland has long been shy about posting shirtless pics on social media, but yesterday he shared a pic on Instagram that leaves you to wonder why he is so reluctant. In a post to his Instagram Stories, the 24-year-old Brit to celebrate his final day of training with Duffy Gaver – their 72nd. With the post, which Gaver reposted on his Instagram, Holland wrote in all caps: "I NEVER POST SHIT LIKE THIS BUT IT'S OUR LAST DAY SO FUCK IT. THANK YOU @DUFFYGAVER FOR MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT JOB BETTER. LOVE YOU PAL."

Gaver, who Cinema Blend reports has worked with fellow Marvel alums like Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johannson as well as other A-list stars like Brad Pitt and Channing Tatum, returned Holland's compliment. "(I)t's been an absolute pleasure to work with you mate."

The reason why Holland is getting more buff is his starring role in the upcoming "Spider-Man" sequel, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which just wrapped shooting. The film, originally set for release this July, is now scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.

Little is known about the film, but a pic circulating this week shows a bruised and battered Holland dressed in his Spiderman uniform. "Holland did recently reveal that 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' will feature 'the most impressive fight scene,' he has ever seen in a superhero movie. 'The film is incredibly ambitious, and I'm delighted to say that we're succeeding in making it,' the Marvel actor said. 'It's going really well. We watched a fight scene that we had shot a few weeks ago, and I've never seen a fight scene quite like it in the MCU. I'm really excited for audiences to see that,'" writes Movie Web.

Peter Parker's mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is being replaced by Benedict Cumberbatch, who returns as Doctor Strange. Also, Movie Web adds, rumors are circulating that "both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will suit up once again as their respective iterations of the famous web-slinger... "Not only are Garfield and Maguire rumored to appear, but there has also been much speculation claiming that Spider-Man: No Way Home will also re-introduce various villains from previous Spider-Man franchises, with the likes of Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, and Willem Dafoe all rumored to be reprising their roles as Doctor Octopus, Electro and The Green Goblin."
