Watch: Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan in Official 'Maestro' Trailer

The official trailer for "Maestro" was released today and it is getting raves. "''Maestro' scores one of the best trailers of the year in sweeping look at Bradley Cooper's Leonard Bernstein film," praises Variety.
The Netflix film goes into limited release on November 22 prior to streaming on December 2o.
The trailer offers a sketch of the decades-long marriage between Bernstein (Cooper) and Felicia Montealegre (Carey Mulligan), the Chilean actress he married in the early 1950s as the young conductor was solidifying his place as American's most famous classical musician. Cutting between black-and-white and color footage, their troubled marriage, complicated by Bernstein's bisexuality, unfolds against Gustav Mahler's sprawling "Resurrection" Symphony. Mahler is the Austrian composer Bernstein helped restore to the standard repertory and the "Resurrection" was a Bernstein favorite.
Cooper directed, co-wrote, produced and starred in "the film opposite Mulligan, Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, Sarah Silverman, Josh Hamilton, Scott Ellis and Gideon Glick. Sam Nivola, Alexa Swinton and Miriam Shor also star.
"Maestro" world premiered on Sept. 2 at the Venice Film Festival, where it received a seven-minute standing ovation, and then served as the spotlight gala film at at New York Film Festival.
"There's a price for being in my brother's orbit, you know that," Sarah Silverman says as Leonard's sister Shirley Bernstein. "Later, at a performance, Leonard holds the hand of a male acquaintance sitting on his left at a concert, while Montealegre looks on with a puzzled expression," reports EW.
