Hot on the heels of out actors Zachary Quinto and Lukas Gage partnering up in the comedy "Down Low," Quinto is set to burn up the screen with "Saltburn" star Jacob Elordi in a road movie thriller about an animal trainer (Quinto), a chimp, and a serial killer (Elordi).

The trailer for the new film has been released, People Magazine reported. Titled "He Went That Way," the movie is "based on a true crime story that puts a wicked spin on the buddy road trip film," according to the film's logline.

The plot, in broad strokes, is that it's 1964 and Quinto's Jim is traveling with Spanky, a chimp who is famous on television, when he picks up Elordi's Bobby. The duo traverse the iconic Route 66 as the film's tension grows, with Jim offering to cut a deal with Bobby that will deliver the killer to his destination – Chicago – while also, potentially, setting him on a better path. But is Jim merely making a deal with the devil? The question is begged as the trailer shows a body being dumped from a speeding car and Bobby is seen seemingly preparing to kill a priest.
