"Saltburn" star Jacob Elordi might be getting tired of hearing about that movie's most infamous scene; he's accused of grabbing a radio producer by the throat for asking for some of the actor's bathwater.

Variety reported that the alleged incident took place on Feb. 2.

Variety said that Elordi "was at a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs when he was approached by Joshua Fox, a producer for 'The Kyle & Jackie O Show' on KIIS FM."

"According to Fox's account of the situation on the show Monday morning," Variety continued, "he asked Elordi if he could have some of his bathwater for Jackie O for her birthday – a reference to a viral scene in 'Saltburn.'"

What happened next, according to the news item, was that "Elordi asked Fox to stop filming and delete the footage," at which point, Fox maintained in an account of the alleged assault he gave on "The Kyle & Jackie O. Show," things got out of hand.

"I refused to [delete the footage]," Fox said, "because I feel uncomfortable right now and this is the only evidence."

"And then Jacob kind of just flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat," Fox added.

When Variety reached out to the New South Wales police force, authorities provided a statement that read, in part, "Police were told about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man."

"The man did not sustain any injuries," the statement added. "Inquiries into the incident is continuing."

Variety took note of Elordi's "hot streak" of acclaimed projects, which, in addition to "Saltburn," includes a turn in the movie "Priscilla," in which he portrays Elvis Presley. Elordi also co-stars with openly gay actor Zachary Quinto in "He Went That Way," in which he plays an unstable killer hitching a ride on Route 66 with an animal trainer and a chimp in the 1960s.

Elordi also stars in the HBO series "Euphoria," and will star in "Dr. Frankenstein" later this year, under the direction of Guillermo del Toro.
