Drake Seemingly Responds to NSFW Video Leak

Rap star Drake seemed to refer, if only obliquely, to a viral video that took Twitter by storm, reportedly showing him in a sexual situation.
On tour and in Nashville, Drake teased the audience about the video, which began circulating on X (formerly Twitter) on Feb. 6.
"I know y'all probably waitin' on me to address this, so the rumors are true," the New York Post quoted the hip-hop artist telling the audience.
Then came the punch line: "My dad is here! That's what y'all were waitin' for?"
Though Drake didn't talk about the video, which was purportedly leaked, it was referenced in an audio clip that, in keeping with the tour's "Superbowl" theme, featured ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith and influencer BenDaDonnn bantering in the style of football announcers.
After Smith speculated in the recording that Drake might be "over the hill," BenDaDonnn replied, "And then, correct me if I'm wrong, Stephen A., but didn't he start an OnlyFans yesterday?"
"On Twitter, he was trending... anyway..." the influencer added.
More than trending; UK newspaper the Independent noted that the video seemingly gave the platform such a boost that it found itself in a leading position on "the IOS chart for free apps," prompting a round of boasting from the platform's owner, Elon Musk.
In the video, the Independent said, a man (purportedly Drake) appeared to be "half naked and engaged in a sexual act."
"Drake has not publicly commented on the leak and there is no confirmation the video actually shows him," the account added, but even so, "the video has received tens of millions of views, and has been shared widely across the site."
In another article, the Independent reported that "Kick streamer Adin Ross [claimed] that Drake has responded to the leak by sending him 'like eight laughing emojis,'" and added that Drake seemingly had some fun with the video's notoriety by posting a picture to his Instagram Stories that "was seemingly taken in the cockpit of the plane, and was accompanied by the caption: 'Cashville I'm home.'"
The connection? The sexy footage was "speculated to have been shot on his private jet," the Independent explained.
In this age of AI-generated deepfakes, any such imagery is suspect. As the Independent noted, it was only a couple of weeks ago that "X-rated deepfake images of Taylor Swift, which were appeared to have been made using AI, show[ed] the pop star in sexually suggestive and explicit positions" – another instance in which social media users took to X in droves.
