It looks like another "Freaky Friday" is on Disney's calendar. OG "Mean Girls" alum Lindsay Lohan dropped the news about the 2003 remake of the Disney classic getting the sequel treatment during an appearance on Andy Cohen's XM Sirius radio program, Rolling Stone reported.

What's more, the film's other star, Jamie Lee Curtis, is also aboard for the sequel.

Per Rolling Stone, Cohen asked about the sequel, citing "rumors" that a new film "could be in the works."

"Is there anything you can tell us about that?" Cohen asked.

Lohan confirmed that the sequel is indeed on the way, but was reluctant to discuss any details: "I don't want to say too much," the "Parent Trap" star told Cohen.

But she did volunteer to "speak for Jamie" when she declared, "We're both excited!"

"Last May, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that a sequel was officially in development," Rolling Stone recalled, "with a script in the works with Curtis and Lohan expected to return to their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman, respectively, after 20 years."

Curtis isn't just excited about the sequel now; she expressed her enthusiasm last year when she revealed how, after doing press for "Halloween Ends" and being asked about a "Freaky Friday" followup, she got on the phone to studio execs to let them know she was all in for a new flick.

Rolling Stone recalled Curtis telling the New York Times how she "called my friends at Disney and said, 'It feels like there's a movie to be made.'"

There have been three movie versions adapted from the original novel about a mother and daughter switching bodies for a day and the hijinks that ensue. Jody Foster played the daughter in the first film version opposite Barbara Harris in the role of the mother. Disney released that film in 1976.
