In Emotional Video to Fans, Gay Porn Actor Opens Up About HIV Status

A gay porn actor took to his YouTube channel this week to open up about his HIV-positive status.
Kayden Gray, who has performed for several studios since 2013, goes into detail about learning his status and why he decided to share it with his fans.
"I've been thinking about making this video for a very long time," Gray says. "I know some people won't like it, but that's more of a reason why it should happen."
He goes on to explain how he contracted HIV, saying he learned of his status more than three years ago after having unprotected sex at a sex party. He said he noticed the symptoms shortly after and "felt disgusting" and "unlovable."
But Gray later discovered antiretroviral treatment and his viral load became undetectable so it was "safe to have a completely regular -- if not slightly crazy -- sex life."
He adds that the worst part of having HIV "is the judgement and the cruelty" he faces. Nevertheless, his 11-minute video is a brave message of support to others.
